Hell Bound

The gun shot deafened me,

I knew the killer preferred me.

Fell to the ground,

Impatiently waiting for the hound.

I could taste the heat,

As my body commanded ‘retreat’.

Heaven or hell, there was never a doubt,

I knew I was hell bound.

Suicide has a way,

A way to get to you somehow.

It takes you straight to the doors,

Behind which the demons growl.

(AFTERLIFE SERIES- PART II)

The Assassin

Cold hearted, he walked toward his target.

He was fame.

Every memory fresh in his head,

He was a killer by game.

No power, no weapon along,

He was walking in his cape so long.

Dreading the future; his next kills,

Wondering how he would pay the bills.

Cold hearted, he walked toward Larry,

Calculating the sin he had to bury.

Just then, Larry entered the hospital

His killer just had to budge a little.

Larry stopped by a window,

Inside was his daughter.

So pale, so feeble,

So far away from laughter.

The assassin left the building,

Because he was fame.

He knew his next kill,

The one who put him in the game.

What Led to This!

Strolling alone in the depth of the night,
No cash in hand, with no one in sight,
My mind wants to think what led to this,
But I know this journey ends without a fright.

Drifting through the snow, the moon up high,
I walk through the clouds, the air so dry,
My mind wants to think what led to this,
But my heart seems to have a cry.

I failed this road, this path comes to an end,
O I wish I had some more time to spend,
My mind wants to think what led to this,
But death is no more a struggle, it’s a trend.

Together

The glow in your eyes,
The silk in your hair,
The light in your path,
Oh I wish I was there.

The pulp in your advice,
The cry in your prayers,
But now I can hold your hand,
There is nothing to despair.

In the seven billion, we are two,
United for now, united forever,
Let’s bring this world down,
With the knights of your clever.
